It happened upon me one late night. I copied and pasted from a PDF into Textmate and saw this perversity of creation in my text. It was so small I couldn’t make out what it was until I zoomed in.

It was an alien head. I think it must be an obscure Unicode pictograph I had never seen before but I couldn’t replicate it again through copy&paste (I tried, hence the blocky characters you see at the bottom). I’ve since looked through a good bit of the pictographic unicode sets and haven’t been able to find it. (—Twilightzone™ music—)

But like any good bigfoot spotting I had to screenshot this for my archives so that people will believe me. You do, right?
